About P31 Home

P31 Home is inspired by the virtues outlined in Proverbs 31. Generous, hard-working, joyful, nurturing, productive–these qualities guide us in everything we do, from our consulting services to our community impact. As a crisis navigation and safety planning consultant, we help people through the most challenging moments of their lives, offering both expertise and unwavering compassion. But our mission doesn’t stop there. Through philanthropy, advocacy, and mentorship, we foster meaningful connections among charities, entrepreneurs, and humanitarian efforts in Colorado—empowering and uplifting others every step of the way.

Our Core Values

Philanthropy

Giving back and helping others is a key part of P31 Home. We partner with multiple business, networking, and community groups to help collect donations, host and participate in fundraising efforts and assist in other ways to give back to our community.

Community

We love to support community, charity, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. Whether we are promoting, organizing, sponsoring, and attending their events, or sharing their stories and giving a platform for their voice, our community is everything to us.

Advocacy

We believe in using our voice, brand, and influence to advocate for those who need it most. We dedicate our platform to educating, empowering, and speaking on causes like domestic abuse and mental health so that we can spread awareness for when the helper needs help.

Mentorship

Communities thrive when we give others the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience. P31 Home is proud to mentor young adults, entrepreneurs, and community professionals throughout their journeys, lifting them up and giving them the tools to serve others.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."

She holds several leadership positions in the business and volunteer communities, provides training for nonprofits and businesses, is a mentor to both youth and adult professionals, and is a well-known people connector. Vanessa‘s most popular public speeches include discussing subjects of “Resilience through Adversity”, “Going from Victim to Survivor”, “Understanding What Love Is and What It Isn’t,” and other topics related to domestic violence, trauma, abuse, setting healthy boundaries, mental health, and substance abuse issues.

Vanessa is a philanthropist and advocate at heart. She is an advisor and sits on multiple nonprofit boards and supports dozens of other groups through philanthropy and mentorship. She is passionate about creating this collaborative book series to help provide real advice and strategies from people who have experienced these difficult life issues or have significant educational and professional knowledge that can provide real help to real people navigating real crises to help create safer homes.

She framed P31 Home to create a safe space where a professional could meet with her and collaborate on a project or charity event, etc., but also have an honest conversation if they need help with a personal or professional situation going on in their life without judgment or concern for professional blowback. Vanessa is who the helpers go to when they need help.
